Experts by Experience is a project from Culture Within Newham that gives locals the opportunity to run training sessions on their area of specialist knowledge.

‘Through Your Eyes’ is a series of guided photo walks where Newham residents will be invited to use smartphones or cameras to explore and document their neighbourhood.

Pass It On Project will support six trainee workshop facilitators to develop their own workshop series, then deliver their workshops to the public. It is produced by Ife Okwudili and Community Clay Newham.

Art in the Garden is a project that spotlights the Manor Park Community Garden as a cherished space for creativity and local engagement, reducing isolation and creating an ongoing positive presence in the space.

In this series of interactive and creative writing workshops, local author and heritage consultant, Farzana Hakim, aims to help the residents of Newham, especially those with links to East Ham and Manor Park, find their voices through storytelling.

Custom House Bookshop is hosting four events over the Easter Holidays in Central Park, East Ham. Art in the Park is one of Culture Within Newham’s Micro-Commissions.

Newham residents are welcome to join the creative writing group at The Well, funded as part of Culture Within Newham’s Micro-Commissioning programme. Two sessions plus a celebration event will be led by local writer Luan Goldie.

Newham Poetry Group is hosting 10 poetry sessions where 18-25 year-olds are invited to dive into poetry, creative writing, spoken word, and storytelling.
