Who we are and what we do
This website is maintained by Culture Within Newham. We are a cultural and creative activity programme for Newham funded by Arts Council England’s Creative People and Places funding. This policy explains how the information we collect about you is used and kept securely. It also explains your privacy choices when using our website as well as your right to access your information.
Where we collect information about you from:
When you give it to us directly – this could be when you register as a subscriber on our website to receive information about our activities, sign up to one of our events, respond to an open call or engage with our social media
When you give permission to third party organisations to share it with us, for example if you sign up to one of our events through Eventbrite or Facebook.

How long we store your data for
We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as is necessary for the relevant activity. If you request that we stop sending you marketing materials we will keep a record of your contact details and appropriate information to enable us to comply with your request not to be contacted by us, we won’t keep any information that we don’t need.
