In February 2026, Culture Within Newham will transform Queen’s Square on Green Street into a world of light and imagination.

Across five days, residents, families, and traders are invited to interact with glowing, moving robots inspired by nature.

Crafted Futures offers local residents the chance to upskill and engage with creative enterprise through the art of ceramics, organised as one of Culture Within Newham’s Micro-Commissions.

Hacky Racers is a series of Hackathon-style events that blend puppetry, animatronics, and semi-autonomous rovers. Hacky Races is for young people aged 12-18 years old, and was produced by CoCreate+.

Clay Connections is a series of mindful pottery painting workshops designed to bring people together and combat isolation, organised by Ife Okwudili as one of Culture Within Newham’s Micro-Commissions.

A partnership between Art in the Docks artists, students from the University of East London and Oasis Academy Silvertown offering immersive workshops to inspire young people to explore opportunities in the creative industries.
