Culture Within Newham, in partnership with London Borough of Newham, are delighted to announce The Sound Hive Tour! Starting this week, the interactive artwork developed by Ricebox Studio in collaboration with Culture Within Newham Children’s Board will be visiting libraries across the borough.

Since 2023, Culture Within Newham has engaged over 46,500 residents, supported 5,300 community co-creators, and supported 41 community-led projects.

Culture Within Newham has been awarded three more years of funding from Arts Council England! This support will keep our programme running until March 2029.

Fifteen artists from East London have been selected as part of a pioneering new programme to commission exceptional new artwork alongside local communities.

Culture Within Newham has been granted an additional year of funding by Arts Council England. This funding will allow us to continue our programme between 1 April 2025 and 31 March 2026.

We’re excited to announce the three Newham-based artists chosen to take part in Culture Within Newham’s public realm commissions are Adam Moore, Matt Ponting, and Alisa Ruzavina.
