Join local author Farzana Hakim for ' The Storytelling Roadshow', an event series that aims to inspire residents to find their voices through the art of writing.
What is the Storytelling Roadshow?
The Storytelling Roadshow is a space to learn easy creative writing skills. Attendees will be encouraged to share ideas and anecdotes from their life experiences in a fun and interactive space.
The sessions will be held at East Ham Library. Farzana is particularly interested in stories and women and South Asian diaspora participants living in and around East Ham, Manor Park, and Green Street - but all are welcome and encouraged to join.
Farzana is running a series of three workshops at the library with the ambition to collect enough stories for a special showcase on 20 June 2026, where there will be a finale celebration to mark the end of the roadshow.
