Hacky Racers: Race Day

  • London Design and Engineering UTC 15 University Way London, England, E16 2RD United Kingdom (map)
Book here

Price: Free

Join CoCreate+ for the Race Day of Hacky Racers, the final event of a high-energy, hands-on hackathon that fuses puppetry, animatronics, robotics and racing! Come and see semi-autonomous RC rovers designed by young innovators aged 12–18, and cheer your favourite on to the finish line.

The project combines STEM, art, and storytelling in a way that’s as fun as it is educational. Whether you’re into coding, 3D printing, crafting, or creative design, there’s a place for you on the Hacky Racers starting grid!

Want to take part in the Hackathon? Book tickets to the Kick-Off Day here.

It’s showtime!

On Race Day teams will test their creations in front of a live audience and compete for prizes in three categories:

  • RC Race Winner – fastest car on the track

  • Semi-Autonomous Race Winner – smartest self-navigating rover

  • Best in Show – most creative or beautifully designed project
