Community Clay Newham is running a skill share Open Day for local facilitators. The event will allow facilitators to connect with providers, and help local residents understand what is on offer in our borough. The open day will be held at Old Manor Park Library, Rabbits Road Building, Romford Road, E12 on Sunday 22nd February 12pm-2pm. Arrival and set up is at 11.30am.
Creatives who run workshops, or have events coming up in Newham are invited to take part in the following ways:
Option 1 - £25 fee offered
You have a section of table as a stall; You can get sign ups for mailing lists and advertise/sell tickets for upcoming sessions. Please bring props, examples of work, leaflets, photos, QR codes, sign up sheets etc. You will be on hand to answer questions. Community Clay Newham can offer a fee of £25 for anyone attending with an info stall for the afternoon.
Option 2 - £50 fee offered
You run a mini taster session or demonstration - where people try out what it is they will experience in your session. Duration approx 30 minutes. Any taster sessions would need to be planned and risk assessed for the space - Community Clay Newham can help with that. You will need to hold your own public liability insurance for the activity you run. You'll provide all necessary equipment. Community Clay Newham can offer a fee of £50 for the session/demo.
