Art in the Docks is delighted to deliver a drop-in creative workshop as part of Green Street Glow Garden. This workshop invites local residents to connect with a world of light and imagination.

In this fun, family-friendly workshop, participants will create bright 2D and 3D nature-inspired models from flowers and vegetables to pollinators and suns, to act as gifts to the Glow Garden Creatures. Come along to make and celebrate creativity together and be part of a growing garden of imagination.

What is Green Street Glow Garden?

In February 2026, Culture Within Newham will transform Queen’s Square on Green Street into a world of light and imagination.

At the centre of the experience is Luma, a mesmerising soft-robotic creation by Air Giants. Towering, graceful and lit from within, Luma is a nine-metre long snail who responds gently to the people around her, inviting play and connection.

There will also be a whimsical garden of interactive plant sculptures, each standing 2.5 metres tall.
